Message 60's/70's muscle cars to the Japanese supercars of the 90's. I was just saying that originality is what matters to most collectors. My point was that you can duplicate any car you want with a lot of money. But that doesn't devalue an original car purchased from a dealer as such.

You can question the value of the SMZ all you want. Just because you may not find it worth more than a standard Z, that's fine. That doesn't make it not worth that amount.

Not to mention, you are comparing values of cars that are 40 years old to ones that are 13 is not fair. There's no telling what mint original Japanese supercars' values will be 20 years from now. I wasn't trying to draw a comparison in value of muscle cars to the Z. I was just trying to show that originality and rarity is what makes cars worth more money.

Also, the cars you are talking about are few and far between at this point. That's another reason for their value. However, this is getting off the topic and wasn't my point.

And where do you see Mopars being worth so much more than GM cars? If you compare say an L88 427 1967 Corvette to a Hemi car, we're not talking much difference in price. :-) If you start talking about Copo cars, again, you'll see that they fair in value very much like rare Mopar cars.

TTZMatt: did i ever think id be the guy to sell the z or go kart?
TTZMatt: no
TTZMatt: but now that ive found true love, i dont care about it anymore
TTZMatt: lol
